(FALSE) MEMORIES
General Background
Although he's certainly financially secure now, as a child, Dio Brando grew up in the poorer end of the town with his parents. Well, for the first four years of his life, anyway. Sadly, Dio's mother passed away from an unknown illness, leaving him alone with his father who had a budding drinking problem. Thus, as a child, Dio was managing himself more than any adult was. Despite the lack of adult supervision, he kept his nose clean, graduated high school with top marks, and quickly pursued a law career that he's always dreamed of having. Post-high school, Dio distanced himself from his father, and was frequently embarrassed by his behavior. He would, however, still step in as next-of-kin in situations that required it. That is up until his father's untimely death. Dio's father was found dead close to the fence. Most believe that it was a case of drunken wandering, but there were certainly a small swirl of rumors that Dio might have something to do with it after he was brought in for questioning. Dio was cleared, however, as a suspect, and the death was ruled an accident.
Idaho state bar worked in Dio's favor, so he was able to skip undergraduate. Thus, despite his young age, he's already (aggressively) working towards becoming a partner at the law firm he works for or working hard enough that he can establish himself in his own firm later, whichever will come first. Dio's proven his worth enough that he's starting to gain a reputation as a highly promising criminal defense attorney due to his consistently high performance as second chair, and his handful of forays into acting as first.
As far as his personal life as an adult is concerned, Dio has not had much time to establish many long-term relationships, romantic or otherwise. Likely if asked, most former classmates and current coworkers would say he's likable and appears popular, but no one seems to really know too much about him. Dio prefers it this way, as he finds social interactions like that to be a distraction from his academics and career. This does not, however, mean that Dio is incapable of friendships (he has a handful) or that he's 110% celibate (the one-night stands and/or friends with benefits would certainly disagree). The only thing Dio really tends to avoid really is alcohol, as he doesn't want to chance following in his father's footsteps.

 STANDS | Destructive Power: A Speed: A Range: C (10m for its Time Stop ability; 2m for physically inflicting damage) Durability: A Precision: B Developmental Potential: B The World possesses super strength, speed, and senses that makes it particularly dangerous. It also has a Time Stop ability, whereupon everything and everyone stops except Dio within 10m. Unless someone has time-stopping abilities, they are unaware of what occurs when time is stopped. Dio's maximum is currently set to 9 seconds, but with more use, this will continue to extend and it is implied due to his vampiric nature, Dio could extend it forever. (HERMIT PURPLE #2) (THE PASSION) This Stand appears to possess some semi-precognitive abilities and is able to produce psychic photographs or images in someone's heart. Dio only possesses this Stand because of Jonathan's body. |
Dio has the ability to create zombies or other vampires with the vampire toxin in his blood. He can accomplish this with living beings or with corpses (regardless of whether it's an old or fresh corpse). Dio can also fuse different species together to create unnatural undead creatures for fun...? Dio's got some weird hobbies. Anyway, Dio has the ability to hypnotize humans that he did for a grand total of once. Because then Araki said, "No, that's not gross enough!" So, Dio has flesh buds that he uses way more frequently. Flesh buds are the insertion of the vampire's cells into the human's brain. If they try to remove the flesh bud, it will kill the host by growing tentacles. (It's not that kind of anime. Chill.) Dio has enhanced senses and regeneration. The latter means that he's incredibly difficult to kill as without exposure to sunlight or hamon, he will constantly regenerate. His weakness to sunlight also means that Dio sleeps during the day. In a coffin. Because he's not dramatic, you're dramatic. Dio also possesses superhuman strength and agility. Dio also must drink blood for his continued survival, as well as a means of speeding up his healing ability. He does so either through his fingers (because, that's why) or with his mouth. In terms of offensive abilities, Dio has an ability that's called...Space Ripper Stingy Eyes... I don't know, dude. You can't make this shit up. Anyway, it allows him to create pressurized streams of eyeball fluid that's strong enough to cut through stone. Finally, he also has the ability to freeze his body parts and transfer that via touch as a means of counteracting hamon. |  VAMPIRE  |
